C7 Owners
 

This has come up from time to time in the general C7 section but there has never been a solution presented.

For those of you brave enough to pull your C7's out into the cold, do you ever have trouble opening the rear hatch? When it's < 5 C, I hit the button and the trunk pops up a quarter inch then it sucks back down with the closing motor. I've silicone'd the seals etc. and it helps a bit but it persists especially when there is a load on it (e.g. snow). I'd rather fix this myself than go to the dealer.
