Okay this matches Zerv02's sketch to the T, SO iM 100% GOING WITH WHATEVER CLAIMS HE HAS.

NAIAS 2019 Were getting a Corvette

Glenn Quagmire 01-11-2019 01:42 PM

WOW! Maybe there's vindication for ZERV?! Looks pretty close to his drawing!

GmdVT 01-11-2019 01:45 PM

Looking good! Doesn't look like much area for shifter unless they put it where that center console small door is

RapidC84B 01-11-2019 01:45 PM

Well eff me... I owe Zerv an apology!

Gear selector (note 'D' and 'M')

Why do I have a feeling Zerv02 went and spent a lot of money to make this up? ;)

jefnvk 01-11-2019 01:48 PM

Well, so much for the notion of weight savings if the first leaked pics (assuming they are real) show everything jacketed in leather.

Glenn Quagmire 01-11-2019 01:49 PM

Looks like ZERV was right on with the interior. I'm glad I asked him to produce the sketch. Let's hope he's also right about the reveal at NAIAS in a few days!!!

Did Cadillac change their logo?

Jeff V. 01-11-2019 01:53 PM

Posting this for reference. Watching the know-it-alls make excuses or just clam up is going to be wonderful

GM is playing 9-D chess, that is clearly a fake steering wheel!

While blurred out, it's clear that lcd screen has the new MyChevrolet infotainment interface that has replaced the MyLink interface in some 2019s, and for that, my condolences. I had that system in the 2019 Colorado ZR2 I owned briefly, and it felt more like a cheap knockoff of the MyLink system than anything I would consider an "upgrade". Shame they couldn't come up with something nicer for the Vette. :(

Otherwise, looks pretty sporty, though I miss the manual shifter already.

I can't imagine that upscale interior partnered with those cheap steering controls. Either way this thread is gonna be good.

dmaxx3500 01-11-2019 01:58 PM

looks cool

Atari_Prime 01-11-2019 01:59 PM

I don't think I can put this anymore delicately...why is there a giant dumbass lump in the middle of the steering wheel?

It's possible and even likely this is still an early styling mock up and not the final product.

Does anyone else think the icon on one of the buttons ahead of the rotary knob looks like a front end lift icon? Like the front profile of the car with an upward facing arrow?

OH THREE Z 01-11-2019 02:05 PM

Holding final judgement but it finally looks like a decent seat will be part of this generation!!

dmaxx3500 01-11-2019 02:05 PM

cool
