Not a bad price for a 92 ZR1
Just saw this on CL, not a bad price. Curious about the engine noise.

Looks like it could be a good deal. I didn't see the piles posted. Only two pictures. No details.

Just sent him a text.

Paint looks beat in the second picture

" Car has not been started in 1 year." - aka ran when parked.

Hope it works out! I know you've been looking at LT4s but if this car checks out and his "whine" ends up just being a belt driven accessory going south or some other component outside the engine (difficult to place exact cause of noises by ear on a running car, like finding the source of a leak that travels from the source), you'll score one hell of a car! And in a gorgeous color, too!

175,000 miles. The guy is high as a kite. |

Oh shit, never mind:lol: Had to double check the ad.
Wasn’t in the ad, he replied to my inquiry. Car is 5k at best. |
Given the known mechanical issues and the miles, I would say he is a bit high on the price. We would need more pictures and details to make an accurate guess on the value. As is, I would offer the seller substantially less than 12k.

At $12k 175k miles it says "project car" for a DIY person. The transition for such a person (hobbyist) would be self rewarding. But, to buy it and turn it over to a mechanic would be cost prohibitive. Better off considering a $20k for a 40k mile car as a working price point ±..

Agreed
|
NO WAY!
That is a horrible deal. Hopefully open to offers. |
Yeah, good that people noticed 175k on the clock, just way to much wear & tear on a car that probably didn't see some old lady using it to just drive to church on Sundays!
