1974 corvette crank window issue
 

My issue I'm having is the window crank is hard to to turn either to roll the window up or down, the window will not roll all the way up to the top even if I try pretty hard, What could be causing the window not to slide up or down all the way or be smooth? could it have jumped a track? the door and mechanical parts in there are all loose and I think this could have happened.

MY 69 was the same way- windows were very hard to roll up or down. I found the old grease in the tracks had turned to stone. Pulled the doors apart, literally had to chip the old grease out with a screwdriver, scrubbed everything with solvent and a wire brush. Replaced the rollers and lubed it all with dry silicone. No more problems.
