Do you like black/dark wheels?
Are you a fan of black /dark wheels on your C7? I know it may depend on color of car but generally, yes/no?

Although It depends on the color of the car when I see one, for me personally on my car, no. I bought our 19 GS convertible in October from dealer stock and it had black cup wheels. I immediately replaced them with a set of machine faced wheels. I am old school. That's because I am an old fart.

To each his own. For my taste there is no quicker way to make a great looking car look dingy and dirty is to have black wheels.

I used to hate black wheels... made the car look like it was missing something from side profile. However, hi-gloss black, like on C7's looks good. I'm about to swap out my silver OEMs for same thing in black. This of course means I am forced to change the badges since chrome with black wheels don't look right.

Depends on the car and the owner for me my first one had black rims, the upgrade last year we went with chrome

Used to hate them... Now I think chrome or silver look dated. Not sure I would have bought mine if it didn't have black rims, it just adds to the red and black combo :)

I used to not like black wheels but when I saw my Blade Silver with black badging, mirrors, spoiler and wheels, damn it just turned my head and made me stare at it. When I asked my wife if it would look better with silver wheels she said no it would be too common and boring. through the years i have had chrome, painted silver, painted body color, and now black. to me it all depends on the body and trim colors. i like them all!!

I personally don't think they do anything for a car and in most cases they look like someone already stole your nice wheels.:rofl: But, if other people like them, hey, that's their choice and I'm happy for them.:cool: But the reality is it's a fad, just like skinny ties and platform shoes and a way for the car companies to get you to pay extra for them. :hide: Just saying.
