"R"terminal stud size
Can someone provide me with the stud size of the "R" terminal on a '64 starter? I need to buy a new ring terminal and can't determine if it is a #6 or #8. In the picture it is the one with the black with pink stripe wire.
Thanks. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...1d90036b16.jpg |
No specific memory. A #6 machine screw nut uses 5/16" wrench, and a #8 uses a 11/32" wrench. If it's 3/8" wrench, it's a #10.
Maybe that helps. |
I think both of them (S and R terminals) are #8; the nuts are 11/32"

Another vote for #8. 11/32” to remove. at least that’s what all my other cars are. |

thanks mark. Any idea what the main power stud is? Where the red cable goes. I am trying to find the correct 16 gauge fusible link. I think it's 3/8" but not sure.
