WHAT's THE SCOOP ON ZR1 PRODUCTION?
 
I have noticed that there have been 'ZERO' ZR1 dealer allocations (nationally from what I can tell) now for several weeks. At first I thought it had something to do with the normal holiday period shut down, but allocations now should be for build weeks out in late February and early March.

Do you think it has something to do with shortages of some unique ZR1 parts or are they winding down production for the late March shutdown? Any thoughts or leaks regarding the potential for a 2020 model or special edition?

I'm not sure. From what I understand, allocations are announced every 3rd Thursday of the month... Maybe the Xmas holiday had something to do with it?
Heard a rumor that some kind of C7/C8 announcement was coming from GM in a couple of weeks. Don't know about 2020 model year for C7 nor Special Edition.
We'll see...

Has GM released any allocations for any C7? I think by feb we ll know if these rumors about c7 production including zr1 were true or not

FACTS:
the allocation process is different for ZR1, Z06, and Stingray/GS
ZR1 is pulled once a month. pulled two months worth in November to fill through February

dealers are told their ZR1 allocations on the 24th
the rest of them should find out this Thursday for all other models

I can’t speak to when/if 2020 allocations will be made available, but production of the ZR1 is underway. Speaking with chat this evening, my TPW was moved from 2/18 to 1/28 and is now at event code 3300. Things are happening at the plant.

WELEPRO, I think he means in the way of allocations being picked up by GM and not TPW. :flag:

Yeah, and I’ve heard all allocations have been assigned. No more allocations to come...again, just what I’ve heard.
