The Blind Spot Mirror Lens Prototype came a day early!!!
https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...571a026645.jpg ...and yes we know how to adjust our mirrors and have seen the posts with the diagrams on how to do it (this post is not about that) I can't wait to slap this on Regards Chip |
What does this do? Is it specially designed to curve the reflection behind you?

https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...f5a9fd2157.jpg It's a Blind Spot Mirror - but it is one lens - so you don't have to roll around with this ugly thing stuck on your Corvette Regards Chip |
Show us more when you have a chance. I'm interested!

Just need it to be warm enough - may have to heat up the garage...lol Meet you for a beer and you can see it for yourself Chip |
I take it this a peel and stick installation over the existing mirror?
|
Is there any way for this to have the autodim and heating of our stock mirror?
Either way, I'm interested. |
I may be interested in this product for a C6?

Its an exact replica - so you should be able to do it either way... The factory lens is stuck on to a backing plate, so no reason that you could not remove the oem lens and just stick this one in its place What I can tell you, is that it is so thin, I would not go to all the trouble :yesnod: Regards Chip |
Prior to installation, can you please have someone in the driver seat take a quality photo looking out the mirror and the same exact photo with the new mirror for comparison?
And, if a standard mirror gives (for arguments sake) 110 degree view, what does this mirror project? |

The mirrors on the C7 are placed pretty good (low and wide) which eliminates most blind spots, but I would like the piece of mind of having more coverage of my surroundings. |

I'm interested as well.

Hmm?
Our modestly priced 2018 RAV4 LTD has amber blind spot warning lights in both outside mirrors. And I like them a ton. Knowledge is power. And it just might save your life.

Mirror mirror, on the door... dont want blind spots anymore... tired of twisting my my old neck around checking blind spots....cant wait to see Chips pics of the install... |
Well I have my mirrors correctly adjusted to minimize and almost eliminate the blind spot. Adjusting the mirrors correctly really does work. However, I will be watching this very closely and would love to try one of these out.
