Barrett Jackson coverage....waay to many commercials this year!

Thanks to Motor Trend I guess...
They have the auction running in a silent box on the right, while incessant Commercials run (even in the middle of Saturday action).
I finally gave up and went to bed....
Bummer...my wife and I will miss the old B.J. venue.
We hardly watch TV anymore because of all the commercials on regular channels.
I guess even cable channels are getting taken over as well.

I was thinking the same thing. There were some significant cars running and they were at commercial. I had the live feed going on IPad to see everything.

I DVR the whole auction and then play it back at 3X speed, slowing it down when something interesting goes across the stage. I can watch 6 hours in less than an hour, mainly because I don't care for Fords and more specifically, Mustangs. I can zoom right past them.

:iagree: DVR is your best friend for TV anymore.

I watched on my computer-moved along nicely.
I had another window open on my computer with the list of cars coming up so I could go eat while a bunch of stuff I didnt care about n give myself a break.

Why would you watch on TV when you can watch online all of the auction with NO commercials or brakes from start to finish?

I watched online because I had a friend running car #1441 1962 Corvette Black/Red and didn't want to miss it?

Is there a way to see a segment that was streamed, but was not included in TV time? Are these streams anywhere? Seems i saw them on you tube in previous years, but not now.

Get an HDMI cable and hook your computer to your TV. I can watch it off my computer on a 70" LED big screen.

I captured all of Barret Jackson on DVR, while being able to save time by FFWD through commercials, which took a significant fraction of total time, I was also very unimpressed with the commentator coverage. Often no details were provided of the car on the stage.
