Ordered some parts from Ecklers for my C1. Parts arrived in an Ecklers box but the parts had Paragon labels.
Did Ecklers buy Paragon?

Yes Paragon makes a lot of parts and sells to other vendors.

Ecklers is owned by Baird, a large capital investment company. I guess Ecklers sources parts from the related parts suppliers as necessary. Big fish ate the little fish. :cheers: Dennis

Shipping is very inflated....unfortunate!

I refuse to let our Company mark up shipping and handling costs of our Products......

Just curious, what do you mean "our company"? Do you own/work for Ecklers or Paragon?

Twice I’ve tried to order from Ecklers and twice I’ve cancelled the order after ridiculous backorders.

Paragon or Zip for me.

its a wonder why Ecklers is still in business. I know 30-40 years ago they where the go to place for fiberglass but since then way better Corvette only parts houses have come to make there own parts and have better customer support

Captain Bud, the answer to your question is no (thank heaven), Eckler's did not buy Paragon. But Paragon does sell parts to Eckler's.

Eckler's is a last resort, terrible customer service. Only if you HAVE to have a part they have in stock (if it's really I stock)

Because I have a business and can buy with a discount from Eckler's through the wholesale division, I check with my contact there first. When it's an item they don't have listed or in stock, I go to Zip, Paragon and Chicago Corvette, in that order. And yes, I have refused to complete a transaction with Eckler because of shipping cost.
