Rolling Antilag for 6 speed guys DIY
I'm a HolleyEFi Car, w/o cruise control, but the wiring logic should apply to others with a 2 step.
So my goal here was to not add addition switches. So i'm using the cruise control stalk. Disclaimer: I forgot how the cruise control works already, since I don't have it. but i believe you need to press "Set" to activate it? My "Set" now is my scramble boost switch. found a schematic for the TAC module. which is located next to the ECU, my car is an 2002 Pin #4, the dark Blue. which is a 12V source. which is the accel/resume switch, So i just tapped into as a trigger for my second rev limiter. https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7885/3...b265046d_c.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4828/4...89381dd0_c.jpg I set the rev limiter is set 3500RPM, on my 27.8" tire, luckily it works around my build, 40 rolls and it'll do 60 in 3rd also, using the button. So now, I get up to speed, hold the button, go WOT, car maintains the speed until i let go the button, It builds 1-2psi. granted brake boosting is probably more effective. but I don't need more boost on my 40s currently. I can probably dabble with timing and fueling to build more boost off that trigger, but for now it's technically just a Rev limiter. And the Test hit |
Nice!! Used to use the iat to drop into the low temp cells for a rolling anti lag. Put it on a momentary toggle. Always worked out well.

Hey that's pretty cool! Nice job op.

That isnt rolling anti-lag....it's just a manually operated reduced rpm limit.

Definitely a cool idea, I’m interested to see what you're able to do with it |
With the Holley, do your stock gauges work?

Well that will certainly freak a few people out on the expressway. Seems like it works great and even cooler to not add additional switches
