wild paint

New Years Day cruise. Perfect weather day.........no clouds, fog, or haze.

Not long after a stop some exotics rolled up to take in the view. The guys were really friendly. There was shop talk about the cars and the eye catching paint. One simply said he wanted his car to look ‘different’ than the status quo. Seems his bud felt the same way. .. At any rate, the cool factor of all machines was impressive!

Paint or wraps?

The other cars are really pretty cool, but I think the 64 Daytona Blue is pure class. I wonder in 55 years how much does not work in those cars anymore? AC, power switches, electric motors, GPS and any other electronics. What will be the cost to maintain? A C2 is pretty simple in the end. Wish you had more pictures of you car. Is it a Dark Blue interior. Ours will be the same. Nice to see a black top to compare the white one we are thinking about installing.

Didn’t look close enough to see if it was paint or wraps. Very meticulous application either way.

The ‘64 interior is dark blue. Door panels and dash are original and still look in good condition.

The guys weren’t snobbish........they wanted to know about the ‘64 lol.

I am guessing they were wraps. There was a Lambo with a Lego wrap that was pretty amazing on the Gold Rush Rally when it came through the PNW.

:iagree: wrap

There were a few here last summer wrapped in SPIDERWEB configuration. It looked cool. The owner said every 2 to 3 years he chooses a different wrap.

Nice to have that option... One was the MIRROR SILVER - he said it had to go as he almost got hit a few times...

I'll take your '64 any day too. I can't imagine no less afford what it would cost to maintain any of those exotics beyond their warranty period no less 55 years from now.

Here's the wrap on the LEGO Lambo. I am not interested in doing anything like this on the Corvette, but it is pretty amazing what they can do with the wraps these days.....

I did this wrap on my Porsche thinking if I didn't like it I could peel it off. But, I really like it. Then I'm not a purist and the a lot of the Porsche guys just look the other way, tough.
