Does anyone know what this piece is called and where I can get one? The original is cracked from someone backing into me.

It's the bumper bar. I get parts like this for Mirrock http://www.mirrockcorvette.com . Always good prices and the parts are always in great condition.

OP isn't a cover repair! It's an impact bar. Dependent much on location and 'talent' I'd think replacement vs a repair is certainly to be considered. Appears to be a '91+ bar and if there's one close to the OP I'd suggest a buy!!

OP doesn't mention 'location'!!

You might want to try checking with your Chevy dealer. Won't be the cheapest but I would bet shipping it from anywhere would be almost as much.
