Why don't you mention the ZR1 or Grand Sport?

Foosh 01-25-2019 03:55 PM

Some have said this style puck isn't tall enough to clear the side skirts on the wide-body C7s. They work great on my skirtless Z51, and I've used the same set on 2 different C7s over 3 years, swapping wheels/tires back and forth between winter and summer.

I took these off of my 2015 Stingray when I traded it in and put them on my 2019 Z06. When I went for the 500 mile oil change the Corvette tech at my dealer said that they are not tall enough alone and he had to supplement them with something else they have, so I believe that you are correct Foosh:thumbs:.

I've got 'em and no problem on my GS nor were they on my side-skirted Z51

I have them on my 2017 Stingray with side skirts, I personally watched the Chevy Service Dept put it on the lift with no supplemental device, had plenty of clearance on the side skirts.

They work on my 2017 GS

Work nice on Z51

Thank you for the post. I've still got to get a set on my C7 Stingray.

jimmie jam 03-08-2019 08:53 PM

I have had the same set on my 5, 6 and now 7. Without a issue...

ShadowGray19 03-08-2019 09:48 PM

Had a set of the plastic pucks on my 2015 Stingray that worked well although 2 of the 4 did not fight tightly. For my 2019 Stingray I went with an permanently installed anodized aluminum set that screwed tightly in place..

I bought a set of these for my BMW back in 2003. I think they actually have a BMW part number. I know they also fit the corvette but I like the larger ones for better clearance. They do work great on the C5's and C6's with out side skirts.

Yes, they are BMW....

Where are you going to put the bridle if you ever need to pull it up on a flatbed? Not a fan.

Should not be an issue. The plastic pucks pry out easily (maybe too easily) with a screw driver. The anodized aluminum pucks I use unscrew in about 15 seconds with an allen wrench (which I keep in the car).

I had these on my 2015 with Z51 and when I brought it in for service the Corvette Tech said they were great. Took them off the 2015 when I traded it in on a 2019 Z06 and when I brought it in for service he asked me if it was OK to remove them and put them in the rear storage compartment -they don't work very good on lifts and they have to put a piece of wood or something to keep from hitting the side skirts.
Obviously, they should be OK with a floor jack -so I will just put them in when I work on something at home.
