I already bought the SAME from Trunk Monkey for $216.................but thanks for replying with GREAT PICS.......
Can you help me conclude or find the CORRECT OE fasteners, clips etc for fastening the above FLARES to the Qtr Panel Lips and Ends of SKIRTS????? |
I had the impression that these were hard to find and somewhat rare since they weren't being made anymore. Perhaps I have mine overpriced and should lower it. I may do that. The type of material they use for these have proven to be strong and resistant to chipping from road debris, rocks etc. I don't recommend carbon fiber to be used for fender flares. It looks good but it doesn't hold up cosmetically, especially if you live in the desert area.
I've seen sheet metal screws being used to hold them in place and those do a decent job but a good quality rivet gun will work just as well if not better. Just be sure to drill the correct sized pilot holes for the rivets.

if you go to trunk monkey corvette parts....punch in the number...you will see that both part numbers ...20837877,20837878 are listed for a ZR1...what isn't to understand...this is very simple....part number 3 is a different screw with a UNUT...than part number 4...which has a hex head type screw with a washer and I believe is longer...if you choose not to use a rivet (2 of them) why?...you want to get the thing apart...then use screws (similar to part #4) with a UNUT from inside the skirt...thats the way I did it on mine...keep in mind...those screws from the dealer will cost you around 5 bucks a piece...if not less

I don't think my message box is working since it filled up. I've deleted nearly half of them and still I've received nothing new since the 9th. You're welcome to use my work email at craigfonesphotography@gmail.com

I got your email but it basically said to refer to the forum messaging page. I go there and there isn't anything new there since 09 Feb 2019. My email might work better. craigfonesphotography@gmail.com
