Device plugged into tps
 

I dont have a picture but I noticed a small square block plugged into my throttle position sensor on my 84. It was between the wiring harness and the TPS. It used OEM plugs. Any ideas what it is? I took it off and I cant say I noticed any difference.

Sometimes they use the adapter with wires to adjust the tps without piercing the wires(just hook up to adapter).
I would remove it after but mabey they left it.

I've seen a gadget advertised that plugs into your TPS that claims to give you more horsepower by tricking the ECM into enriching the fuel mixture at about 3/4 throttle, as if the throttle was at full throttle. Snake Oil!
