Crank Bolt Size
I have my engine out currently and I want to chase all of the threads before I put it all back together. I want to double check the crank / harmonic damper bolt thread. Is it 7/16-20? I don't have this size in NF in my tap kit so I want to make sure I order the right one.

I believe that's correct

Take the bolt to the hardware store and double check it against a nut. Or get yourself a thread pitch gage, they are not that expensive and can help prevent a costly error. they make English and Metric that cover all the popular sizes. I have an English but not Metric, so I just time a trip and go into the hardware store and check. Ours actually has a display for checking thread sizes.

yes it should be what you said

Please be sure NOT to chase it with a tap - chase it with a thread chaser.
