It's 7.09 Saturday morning 31 degrees and snowing. Going out to the garage and building a fire. Today the new 383 stroker is going in the 64 there will be updates. These guys will arrive once it warms up:cheers:

As you can see I left the trans in the car this will be a first for me I've never put an engine in with a manual trans in place.

I pick door number three, Monte.

So, stop your yapping and stick it in already.

Sorry, I got that line from the wife.

Don’t forget to lube it as required

elwood13 02-09-2019 02:23 PM

And make sure you don’t hear “That’s not it” during insertion.

Good job Reno!

I've lost some days on the '63, as today marked our 5th day that we had no power! This afternoon, it finally came back on.

We did "ok" but you really miss electricity when it's not there.

How far did you get?

Pat

:yesnod: Great progress. It should be a blast to drive with the new power plant.

FYI if you stab a engine in with the trans in place. The motor mounts need to be on the frame not the engine so you can just slide it on to the input shaft
