LS7 lifters - Delphi vs GM

Anyone know what the difference, if any, in quality between the Delphi ls7 lifters and the GM lifters are? I can get a set of the Delphi’s for $99 and around $180 for the GM ones.

Anyone? I’m going to put an order in soon and would like to get some feedback. The Delphi lifters are only $100 and the Chevrolet performance ones are about $200. Are the Chevy performance ones that much better?

This may help.

I would go with LS7s over the GM Performance lifter which was the Cadillac Racing lifter in most applications.

Thanks. If this helps any here are the two part numbers I’m looking at. This is off the BTR site. Both listed as ls7 lifters

Delphi units may not be the real GM lifters. Delphi is like any other aftermarket brand, they buy their parts from aftermarket manufactures and put the parts in their boxes. If you want the real GM LS7 lifters make sure you are buying them using the GM p/n 12499225 and that they come in GM packaging. You can find them for a lot less than $180.

They are actually like $212 on the site I’m putting an order in on but I found them for about $150 somewhere else so I’ll prob go with those.
