F55 ~ question
I bought my 2010 C6 in 2015 with less than 6k miles on it. On inspection, I found the F55 shipping stuffers still in place.
Clearly the mechanic at the prepping dealer, who did the subsequent oil change and inspection, didn't understand F55. Were there any electric connections that should have been given prepping attention? How would I check the current going to the shocks now? Thanks. |
I had a partially unplugged (electrical connector) shock and was getting the message "service active handling." I took it to a dealer who scanned it with a Tech 2. It pinpointed which shock and that is when it was discovered it wasn't plugged in fully. If you are not getting any messages on the DIC, you are probably OK.

I'd still like to check the current getting to the shocks. Does anyone have any feedback on how to do this, specs, ?
Thanks |
Lol. This come up now and then. If you have no error messages it's fine.
Too funny all those services nobody catches that. Enjoy the car. |
