Cost to powder coat wheels?
 
have a set of chrome factory wheels that are pitted-thought about powder coating the wheels any ideas on cost of doing that or any alternatives ?

Contact your local powder coater as different regions may vary. Down here in Dallas, I have gotten quotes starting at $400 for powder coating wheels.

Hey, I'm in Dallas right now taking an exam! Powder coating in my neck of the woods (charleston sc) is about the same, but you gotta watch who you take it too. Sometimes people will do shady shit and not do the entire wheel to cut corners. Make sure you check reviews

If you drive the car where there is a lot of road debris (rock salt, anti skid material and the like), you really need to think twice about powder coating the wheels. They really do not hold up against impact loading, like those roads with that type of debris, can dish out.
