C5 Corvette bogging down

Overall my c5 runs well, but recently when I press down on the gas peddle as I enter the freeway it stutters or feels like it is bogging down. Also from time to time at idel it seems like it is missing and feels like might stall but never does and then it goes back to normal 6000 rpm like. My gas linage is getting worse I used to get 300 miles to a tank of gas and now I am getting about 245 miles a tank..

Car has 140k miles new iridium plugs and wires, air filter etc and is well maintained. How do I trouble shoot this as there are no dic codes that relate to this problem. Mahalo

Aloha !!
Without a scan tool sometimes it can be a little difficult to diagnose these kinds of driveability issues. The are 2 areas that you would be looking at...air and fuel delivery the most common. I’d clean the MAF sensor first and take it from there !!...when was the fuel filter last changed ???

Fuel filter was changed at 100,000 miles along with many other items.

thanks

If you feel like it runs a little rough at idle but runs fine at higher RPM I’d look for a vacuum leak... you can use propane or Brake Kleen ( be careful with this) and spray it around any vacuum lines and see if the you can hear an RPM change...it may be a fuel pump but without some diagnostic equipment you’re just guessing !!...you can pick up a fuel pressure gauge for pretty cheap these days...is your throttle body clean ???...I’d look at that too !!
