What is the difference between a 1981 and 1982 Interiors?
 

I am wanting to change my 82 interior from the Tan color to a Black interior but am having difficulty in find "Black" as a color option for 82 interior pieces such as carpet, door panels, Dashboards/pads, etc..

The difference was the color options available as you seem to have noticed. If it fits an '81 there should be no reason for it not to fit an '82.
