me vs a HD Dyna 1600

Caught my friend in some traffic on a good long open road, he has a 2016 Harley Davidson Dyna 1600. I think its all stock right now and I am all stock.

We did a roll from about 40 mph in 2nd gear. He stayed even with me until I shifted into 3rd and Then I started to walk away from him, by the end of 3rd he was behind my bumper, thats the weakness of a motorcycle, the aerodynamics, anything past 80-90 starts to really drag on them. Curious about a race from a dig against him. He said he keeps up with R6s which are mid to high 12s

That's a pretty good benchmark for you. What are you driving?

Yeah, walking him in that manner sounds about right. A high 12s car vs a low 13s/high 12s motorcycle. From a dig, with both of you driving perfectly, it would take you a little longer to reel him in.

FYI - R6's run mid 11's stock. That's a tall task for your car or your buddy's HD.

my R6 was an 05. I think it was mid 12s, newer ones should be a bit faster for sure.
