Without seeing it in person based on the pictures and description I would say that is a more than fair price with documents indicated.

Looks promising, but no pics of undercarriage or critical data like stamp pad, trim tag, VIN tag, etc. Recommend hiring an expert to go inspect it, especially potential rust areas - bird cage, kick ups, etc - since it is from a snow area.

It may be a fair price, but can’t tell much with the pictures. Since it is close, I’d recommend you find and take a knowledgeable C2 person with you and go check it out.

It has had a body-off restoration, Great deal for sure. Price seems too low , if it did have a true body off restoration. But, would never purchase until after the test drive.

That and if I the miles are true it was likely never winter driven.

Inspection

Contact Pancho (provette67) and meet him their and let him do a professional inspection. He just inspected a ‘66 Coupe for me and I purchased the car based on his report. The best money I ever spent. The previous inspection “I” did on a ‘67 proved to be a disaster when car was stripped. As far as price goes, sounds about right for the car if it is as described.
Good Luck
Earl

Quality of restoration. If you like base motor and yellow, get an inspection. Sounds good.

as far as yellow It is not even close to my favorite color but on a c2 this pale looking yellow looks nice although never saw this color in person.
will have to do some thinking. just bought a 71 BB coupe that was a frame of restoration about 7 years ago but always wanted a C2. im still working on wife, lol.thanks again, Nutsy.

:yesnod: for sure. It does look nice in the pictures though but he's the man that can tell if it is nice.
If it is you can "make an offer".

[QUOTE=Railroadman;1598916681]Frame off restoration on her, too? :D[/QUOTe Haha that would cost too much.

:iagree: I have been known to look good in pictures. In person my body is showing some signs of age !

Bowtyeguy 03-15-2019 09:17 AM

My friend bought this car after all ,and had it inspected by an expert from the Forum. The guy selling it did it no favor with the pics he posted. This car had a complete frame off with tons of paper work. He had pics and a folder full of docs. This car is better in real life than in pics. Just shows sometimes you have to go see them. I would think over 100k was done on the restore.
