SOLD!

We have been honored to have this Corvette in our showroom since we purchased it from the estate of the original owner. The Corvette has 38,812 original miles. BG Survivor

May I ask what factors held the Survivor award to a Silver and not a Gold?

Thank you.

We lost some points for the engine and chassis. It scored a 67.25% on the engine, 96.5% for the exterior, 94.75% for the interior, and 66.25% for the chassis.

still have the old exhaust or pictures of the car the day you bought it?

I figured it would be easiest if I post the judging sheets, hope that helps!

I personally was not there when we bought it, so I will have to see if I can find any photos from when we got it.

I can help answer any questions that people may have. I was personally involved in the acquisition of this car, documenting, preserving and showing the car. I have many pictures of this car that I can send via text message. The documentation is equally as impressive as the car. Pictures of documents, awards, etc. I have them all. Also had are pictures of the car with the deceased owner, shortly after it was purchased. The family of the original owner are really nice people and would love to know that Nino's Corvette will be preserved for years to come. Some more information that I wrote here: http://www.n8svette.net/ninos-corvette/

Also, very important, this car was signed off for Bowtie Cert. when it received Top Flight in Altoona, PA. We couldn't make it to Vegas the following summer for the Nationals.

Nice 1 owner car you got there GLWS

Great find!

I guess the deductions were for condition and not originality, a lot of little things that added up and gave you the Silver.

But wow! How many 1-owner C2's can there be left in the world? And unmolested to match, and with a factory upgraded engine. When I saw the title of the thread I assumed it would be a base engine. Amazing!

Nice car,
Going over those judging sheets wouldn't be difficult to make the number to obtain Bloomington Gold it only needed to gain 55 points. there were 160 lost on the chassis, which 55 would have been easy. light corrosion removal on the suspension would have gotten the car there.
Would do well in NCRS at the national level.

Matt@VanBortelChevy 11-14-2019 01:00 PM

Yes definitely!

Matt@VanBortelChevy 02-11-2020 01:20 PM
