ZR1 will be featured in Sebring Midway this coming weekend
 

Mentioned in details of upcoming race by Corvette racing. BTW... two big races this weekend. The WEC 1000 miles of Sebring will have the #63 C7.R car driven by Garcia,Magnussen and Rockenfeller beginning Fri afternoon 4 pm ET on Velocity TV followed by the 12 hrs of Sebring starting Sat 10:30 am on CNBC with the #3 Vette (drivers above) and #4 driven by Gavin, Milner and Fassler.. Corvette is the only team entering both races (only one car in the 1000 mi WEC race). This may be our last chance to see front engine Corvettes representing GM racing at Sebring in these series.

It should be a great race.

Where did you see that Corvette is the only team entering both races?

Unless info has changed from the Sebring website, Corvette, Ford GT, BMW, and Porsche all are racing in both. Actually, the #66 and #67 Ford GT's will be running in both races.

. Can’t attest to its accuracy, but news release from Corvette Racing said such:... but they probably meant the only CORVETTE team running both. Sorry about that. Good news because the FIA GTE class race would have been non-existant. Haha.

Sebring Corvette Corral?
 

Does anyone have a spare Sebring Vette Corral pass they would like to sell? It sold out before we could buy one...

.. won’t be there myself but wish I was. Would be really cool if they reserve a section for all the ZR1’s.. all gens of them. Anybody from Sebring Corvette Corral out there listening? If so .. please post pics.

This was the GM ZR1 on display at Daytona

Regular IMSA #3 Corvette C7.R drivers Antonio Garcia, Jan Magnussen and Mike Rockenfeller will be tackling both races. They will drive the #64 Corvette C7.R chassis 004 (I think) in the WEC 1,000 mile race on Friday and then the 12 Hour race in the #3 (chassis 007) on the Saturday. The #4 (chassis 006) will run just the 12 Hours with Oliver Gavin, Tommy Milner and Marcel Fassler.

I will be there on Friday and Saturday so will try and get some pics from the Corral and the race.
