Edgy Vette Cajun ported manifold and other shiny things finally installed

Crappy weekend here in Georgia so I finally got around to installing all the stuff I have been gathering

First on the list was a Edgy Vette ported manifold that I purchased from a forum member who was going with a blower ,

He also sold me an Edgy Vette throttle body that I did not install just yet as I wanted to do one at a time in case I got a CEL . I will install the throttle body this weekend but I don't expect any power gains from it

Then to top it all off I added a Carbon Black painted Vararam and a Carbon Black manifold cover along with some really nice carbon fiber coil covers ...

BUTT DYNO says the car is pulling harder and some PDR recordings back it up but only a few trips down the drag strip will be the real test , just wish it would stop raining

I am happy with how the car responds now and would recomend a Cajun ported manifold in a heartbeat

Next mod , headers and a header tune ....

Dave intake looks good, that’s just paint that you did on the air box? Looks like it came that way lol

Yes the Vararam air box is painted the same carbon black metallic as the manifold cover . The air tube has not been painted yet

I've been interested in the ported manifold and TB for a while now. Glad to hear you are happy with the butt dyno results

Yes I am very happy with the EDGY VETTES ported manifold , I have since had the chance to drive it somemore and I can tell you with out a doubt the car feels and responds so much better , now does that equate to faster .... when I go to the track sometime in the next month I will report back .

I might add for those that are doing the installation themself, it took all of about an hour to swap out the manifolds and that was really taking my time . There are instructions on how to do it and the torque sequence you need to use posted right here on the forums , I did not unplug the MAF sensor as there have been reports that this could set a code .

Also you need an INCH POUND torque wrench , I got a cheap one from Harbor Freight

If you are on the fence .... do it ...

I am following closely I will be real interested in your tracks times. To me this is real world data. Dynos to much variation and arguing lol.

Did you continue using the OEM gaskets?

Yep , I used the old gaskets , They are a really hi quality gasket

They have a little tab on the end , I popped them right out of the old manifold and put them in the new one , on the throttle body gasket I used a small pick to lift it out carefully

On the port gaskets they can go in either direction but I noticed that they kinda took a "set " when I saw one that looked like it was sticking out more than others , I flipped it over and it looked just like the others

Torqued the manifold down in steps just as the instructions say to do so you don't " twist" the plastic manifold , be careful the final 80 INCH POUNDS is not a lot of torque and I can see someone snapping one of these thin bolts ...

We appreciate your comment and email brother. Glad you are happy.

Just want to clarify that these are Edgyvette ported parts. Not Cajun Ported parts. Cajun is my first name.

Please give EV a shout for ALL parts needs in the future. Thanks AGAIN!
