Pulling engine out of 1995 Corvette
 

Anybody got any tips on pulling engine out of 95 Vette with 6 speed transmission. I have pulled lots of engines but never out of a vette.
Will engine and transmission come out together, or is best to pull engine by itself.
I bought this car with the engine stuck from sitting so long. I got it broke loose and running. Runs good, transmission and clutch work good.
But valve stem seals are bad and it has a major oil leak on front of engine.
It also has a lot of ring blow by so I want to pull the engine out for overhaul. It has 108000 miles showing on the odometer.
But it apparently set for many years after opti spark and water pump went out.

Any suggestions on a hotter cam for it Are LT4 cams available for it?

The guy I got it from had the computer programmed for a LT4 cam? He bought it not running. He had computer program done, bought new opti spark and water pump before he discovered the engine was stuck
