I went through this on my ‘64 convertible last year.

First thing is to verify where it is sagging. I thought hinge bushings, but when I carefully pulled up on the door and observed where it pivoted, it turned out the rivets in the door were loose. Verify where it is sagging first, then we can help address the issue.

Yep - need to first verify loose hinge bushings, loose hinge reinforcement panel in door, low door adjustment, or some combination of the three. Usually some lifting up on the door and working it around by hand will show if the hinge bushings are sloppy or if the flat head rivets on the front of the door are loose.

It was the rivets for me! Removed the door, drilled the rivets out and replaced with a 1/4" threaded bolt with a very large flat head and washer/lockwasher & nut on interior. I had to drill the hole out slightly for the 1/4" bolt. There was a smaller one that was metric that probably would have fit without drilling, but I just could not bring myself to use metric!
