Is OnStar Navi the same as the actual Navi?

See attached window sticker- trying to determine if this car has "Navigation" for the purpose of valuing it. Navigation is only mentioned in the OnStar trial part. It listed with 9800 miles for $47K . Your thoughts on that price? It was also listed as a Z51, which its not. TIA

Nope...

Navigation is in the radio,

Onstar nav is you give them the destination and they send directions to your dash and hud... NOT the same

Upper right hand corner of the window sticker...........car comes equipped with (Performance Data and Video Recorder with Navigation). So that car has the factory Navigation option, and as stated is part of the Radio head unit.

The car has both On Star Navigation and In Car Navigation. Shows in the Window Sticker at the top of the right hand column where it says Performance Data and Video Recorder w Navigation.

On the 15 and newer cars you had to order the PDR to get Navigation. The 14s were the only ones that included it as part of the radio option. So if you see a window sticker from a 15 or newer car and it doesn't list the PDR then the car only has OnStar Navigation which may or may not be active.

Thoughts on private party value? Here is the private party ad: https://modesto.craigslist.org/cto/d...840902267.html

I agree - that car has the factory navigation option on it and is different than the On-Star Nav.

Just to provide clarity, navigation is an application in the Infotainment System. The radio is also an application in the Infotainment System.
