Ever since I retired my 1971 Corvette Convertible from daily driver duties about a year ago I'v not driven it too much. Today is so beautiful I went for a little drive with the top down.
I went out to the garage thinking I'd have to charge the battery after not driving it for so long. I decided to try and start her first and to my surprise she fired right up, no smoke or anything. I let her warm up a bit and took her on an hour long drive with the top down. Everyone was waving and giving thumbs up and so yelling "Nice car". What a fun feeling.

BTW....that Gold was one of my two or three C3 favorite colors back then! What was now Laguna Blue was my gotta have color - but I was just a student back then. Never did get the Gold or Laguna Blue.....:(

Yep- out driving the Vette certainly brings out the waves and smiles!!!

Lost a center cap leaving Atlanta- new tires the day before - The tire place did such a bad job balancing the tire -had to stop and get it fixed

I have family all over those hills in WVa, when I saw that pic I went "that looks like West Virginia"... and you confirmed it. Car is awesome brah!

We just had our first good rain, need 1 more to get the salt off our roads before mine hit the asphalt. T

not a vette but all I have for now, took it out for about 40 min, had my first "find the bugs" issue
(broken throttle return spring). Block from home heard a thump and found a bolt worked its way from the exh hanger
Love it...quick lil bastige.
Some days I still think of a big block but after driving it sinks in it would be hard to get much more power down.
