Great numbers! Did you need any fuel upgrades?

No. All stock fuel components, no meth.

REDBULLIT 03-14-2019 10:41 PM

That's exactly what I'm looking for.

cjb51989 03-16-2019 08:35 PM

I’m guessing this is the Si unit? I will be doing this very soon as well.

Great number man you have to be at the edge of your fuel limit with 9psi & at RWHP I would look at putting meth on her just for insurance. 550.00 is nothing if the car fuel system had a small problem plus I would put a break out sensor on her at 9 psi also.. Anyway nice car in looks & rwhp.. Robert

My tuner said this is a safe tune. No sign of fuel pressure loss. High or low. He's been tuning my cars for 20 years. I agree this A@A produced some sick hp and tq. Especially for an automatic. My last pro charged Camaro SS was a 17. Also automatic. It made 568rwhp and 513rwtq. At 9 psi Out of fuel...lol. The 50mm bov is the cats ass...Talk about an efficient system.

Be careful. I turned off traction control then totaled my car. Andy made mine quick. I got two months out of it.

This is not my first rodeo. I've been driving fi cars since my twin turbo ls1 Camaro, 2000. You have to respect all that power. Sorry for your mishap...

Great power for the street for sure. Bring it to the track and see how she does.

:iagree: This is where you take the dyno queens from the true running cars.. Plus a guy that is doing the dyno can get a person as much as 20% diff's one way are the other on the rollers. ^^^ Buddy good to see you in here again.. Robert

Very impressive numbers!! My car is currently at Vengeance getting a ECS kit put on mine which is a stock '15 Z51 A8. Baselined at 407 rwhp 424 rwtq so hoping for mid 500's

Do Automatics pull down more RWHP compared to a manual 6 speed ?

What do you mean? Easier to launch? Manual will have 5-10% more wheel hp because of drivetrain loss.

Generally you'll see a lower output mod-for-mod compared to a M6 car, but that is usually more due to the fact that most shops pull them outside of their 1:1 gear on the dyno (5th instead of 6th) to keep the speed down and the dyno happy, as well as safer. There is minimal true "drivetrain loss" difference between the A8 and M6 cars in the C7, and at the end of the day, the engine is still making the same power regardless of the drivetrain behind it, and the auto car will always be faster at the track.

Great results by the OP however! That's a FUN car at that power level.

Thank you, David. As a former dyno jet owner, manuals would always pull 20-30 more rwhp. If you are comparing cars with identical mods.

:D Decent power should be interesting at the track or the rodeo
