Will OEM indoor Stingray cover fit a Z06?
 

I bought an oem indoor cover for my stingray off a member here which arrived on the same day I traded in for my Z06. Do I need to sell the cover or will it fit? I have not washed the car yet, so don't want to even try to force it on if it won't fit.

Yes it will fit. I bought one for my Z51 a few years ago and have used it on my Grand Sports.

I have no time to wash the car before I go for a week vacation, and I can't try the cover because the car is dirty. If it turns out my cover is not for Z06, I'll sell it on the forum and buy another. It should arrive when i get back from vacation. Make sense?

Just in case you have a cover for a C5 Or C6, the cover will fit a Z06 perfectly. My C5 cover fits my 2016 Z perfectly.

I think I'm good to go, so I'll keep the Stingray cover, then confirm when I get a chance to wash and wax the Z. The reason I even started this thread was because there are two multiple part numbers for the indoor oem covers, and say "ZO6 Coupe", while other says "Stingray/Z51 Coupe" or something like that.

I know my C5 coupe cover fits my C7 Stingray coupe - was a pleasant surprise. As for your car, do like you mention - wash the car, then try the cover. If for some reason it does not fit as you like, then proceed to sell the cover and get one designed for the Z06.
