Do people recommend putting the 3m tint on the lights or not that good. Just curious

Are you talking about black tint on the tail lights? I thought that went out in the 80s, until I almost rear ended someone a few days ago with blacked out tail lights. Super bright headlights that blind other drivers are the newest stupid fad, luckily that seems to be dying too.
