94'-96', Manual| Realistic Budget: $7,000 (More Info in Desc.)
 

Hi guys. I'm looking to get a fun to drive summer car for cruising around my lake town in NJ. I've been looking far and wide for the perfect car for me for about a month now, day in and day out. I had the same kick last year, but never followed through on it. I'm much more serious this time around. Here's what I'm looking for:

Transmission: Manual
Engine: LT4 preferred, but LT1 acceptable
Mileage: As long as it runs reliably and is under 150k, I don't care.
Color + Interior:

1. Silver with red interior
2. White with red interior
3. Forest Green with beige interior
4. Black with beige interior (although black interior it ok, too)

I'm sure I'll likely never find what I'm looking for with my current budget, but I figured it's worth a shot. If it's slightly over my budget, please post it anyway! Also, even if it doesn't match all the preferences, post it! I'm very interested in your findings.

As I found when shopping for for three Vettes that if a car hits most of the things you are looking for and is some what convenient to look at, purchase, and get home, that goes a long way toward making the deal much easier. Usually colors is the hardest things to get. I'm not sure how many cars you have driven but I'm in NJ Near Clinton, with a very nice car that is the body style and 6 speed you are looking for, though an L98 car. As I'm sure you have found there not that many 6 speed cars out there. Come take a look, I bet you like it!

maybe the OP realized that a cheap C4 isnt cheap once everything that can be wrong with them is addressed.

its crazy to spend 5k on a car that needs paint, tires and god knows what else vs the 8-10k C4s that are out there that have been well cared for and loved.

I have a C4 in mind for you, I'm located in NC. It's a '93 Convertible Forest Green with beige interior - 6 speed. It has 127K miles. Wasn't going to sell, but will be moving west in the next year.Was going to list at $9k o/b/o. I can always post more interior & engine bay pics.
