C4 ZR1 Headlights

My ZR1 1993 the lights seem to come on during the day and won't shut off ? The switch is turned off and I did turn it back on just to see what would happen and the lights stayed on until I shut her off. Sure do need some help please.

Did this just start to happen or has it been happening since you have owned it? Wondering if it is an Export car with auto Headlights

It's from BC and I just got the car Sunday. I am not sure just think it's strange to drive around in the day with your headlights on during the day.
Thank you for replying :)

On your dash pad (approximately in line with the center of the gauges) I am assuming what looks like a round piece/plug (has circles on it like a bullseye) with a hole in the middle? If so, I believe you have an official export car with the DRL option. There might be a way to disable it, but I would need to look in a service manual to see how to disable it

Many thanks to you !! The guy who sold me the car claims that never happened to him. When I drove the car home Sunday the lights never came on. Monday I get the plates on her and next thing I know the lights pop up and the lights dial is on off.
Again Many Thanks

Post a picture of the dash ( in the area described) and the RPO sheet from the glovebox, that will help to determine for sure
