1967 Marina Blue convertible
 

1967 Marina blue with bright blue interior 300 hp, 4 speed, two top convertible. Very nice driver quality car that can be enjoyed. Excellent body fit with older repaint that still shines nicely. Very nice birdcage and solid frame. Original windshield and door glass all in very good condition. The VIN and Trim tags are original to the car and the car is a very early VIN. Jay: Maybe it's me, but I would never post a picture of a car for sale with a fire extinguisher inside.

Always safety first. I think the NCRS gives extra points for that. I have one in all of my old cars. Thankfully I have never had a need to use one and I hope that it stays that way.

Re: Fire extinguishers, I have never bought one and put it in the car, and whenever I have purchased a car that happened to have one I am afraid to remove it, even though I don't like them. I think it is bad juju to take them out.

Jay, when we talked about that car briefly several months ago, I think I had only seen the engine bay and not the rest of the car. I think it looks great! Best of luck with sale, I wish I had room and funds for a 4th or 5th toy at this point as I have not seen 67 small block as nice as this come up for sale on CF in a long time.

Hello Nick. It is a car that can be enjoyed for sure without hurting it in any way. When people talk about driver quality cars this is the type of car they should be referring to. We will see if there is much interest. If not I will just keep enjoying it. Thanks for the bump.

Actually that is a good question. I have never checked to see what it is. I can however see a posi trac tag on it. If I get a chance next weekend I will get under it and see what the code is. I would just guess that it is a 3:73 or a 3:55.

This is the best priced 2 top 67 convertible currently on the market. There is not another one priced in the 50's anywhere that I can find. I have had numerous calls with a million questions. Everyone that I have spoken to says they want a driver quality car but then the conversation reveals what they really want is a fully restored or near perfect car to drive on the cheap. There is a huge difference between the two. What I am selling is a very nice unrestored driver car that can be enjoyed and driven now and worked on over time to make it the way that you want it. The car does not need anything major done to it in its current condition. The low ball offers are an insult. If you are serious then lets talk seriously otherwise keep looking. I do not mind the phone calls but lets keep them realistic.

Jay, the people that are wasting your time are called “Trolls!”
They are dreamers and time wasters. IMO don’t talk price until they show up and examine the car.
Your Vette is awesome and would sell the first day that it was presented at a venue like Corvettes at Carlisle. A serious buyer will grab this car up real quick, don’t let the Trolls waste your time.

Well I do not want to call anyone on the Forum Trolls but I have come to the conclusion that there are no serious buyers on this Forum unless it is a give away situation. You are correct my car is a great driver car that can be enjoyed and improved on at the best price anywhere on the market that I can find. This is not a crisis sale for me at all just reducing my cars getting ready for retirement. I also agree that at a Corvette venue it would be sold the first day, Thanks for the bump.

It doesn't cost anything but time to advertise on this forum. So complaining about offers you are getting is not going to get you better ones. Maybe this is not the right venue for your car.

Right you are about advertising on this Forum, however I disagree with your comment about offers or a different venue. This is a great venue for just putting up a random ad and expecting to get low ball offers. I stand by what I said about what lookers / potential buyers say they are looking for and what they actually want to buy and for a very cheap below market price. Someone will see that this is a great car for the money. If anybody can show me a better one for the price I would like to see it.
