For the second ZR-1 “SoCal Gathering” during the
2019 Southern California Historic Sports Car Festival

April 27-28

The ZR-1 Net Registry invites all Z owners or those who aspire to a ZR-1 to join us at the races during the SVRA 2019 Southern California Historic Sports Car Festival, April 27-28th. The SoCal Historic Sports Car Festival will feature eight different race groups including, Formula Fords, BOSS & Formula Atlantic/Super Vee/F2, Historic Stock Cars, medium and large bore production cars, GTP, Can-Am, and lastly the Pirelli Trans-Am series. Best of all, everyone is welcome in the paddock and garage area to see the cars and to talk with the owners and drivers. The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli marks its second year of the Trans Am West Coast Championship. These high horsepower muscle cars will once again challenge this track on the west coast.

Join us and other ZR-1ers in the pits as we will have dedicated ZR-1 Net Registry member parking among the vintage race cars competing that weekend. Then on Saturday at Lunch break, the ZR-1s will run the famous Auto Club Speedway race track behind the official pace car. Bring a folding chair, sun screen, and join us for lunch in the pit area. There will be plenty of bench racing, wrenches that need turning, and new ZR-1ers to meet.

Please RSVP to Ted Feder, tfed11@earthlink.net, by April 21st if you are planning to join us for this event. The Vintage races will run through Sunday should you want to remain for a second day. Auto Club Speedway is located at 9300 Cherry Avenue, Fontana, CA 92335

I will be there in Fontana. Several others have already
responded that they will also be coming: some for one day,
some for more. This will be my third time. It is definitely
worth it! Coolest race cars you will see. The people aren't
half bad also! :-) I hope to see you (all) there!
