bluetooth upgrade in 60's radio

I have a real 66 Chevelle AM/FM radio that was restored over ten years ago. it works perfectly and looks new as it should. but I want to add bluetooth. but really don't want to send it out. would like to know if there is a "kit" to do it your self. or any other way to stream music from my phone by not using a FM transmitter

I just picked up a Roav Smart Car Charger for my C5. You connect to the unit with your phone via BT and It broadcasts on the FM band.

There are other many manufacturers that make similar systems and you can add all the Bluetooth features to your car without having to put in a new unit.

Good luck.

Not so much a "kit" but here's a possible solution.

This circuit board has an amplifier built-in, as well as a bluetooth receiver. You wouldn't wire it to the innards of the radio; just wire it to your factory speakers, then stream from your phone to this board. If not obvious, don't turn on the factory radio at the same time this board is powered up or one unit may damage the other. (You can use a SPDT toggle switch on +12V so that your radio and this board never get energized simultaneously.)
I haven't used this board in a car audio install per se, but I built some homemade stage monitors using some old car speakers and it's pretty impressive for the price. Not super high end, but sound quality is probably as good as 50 year old factory AM/FM.

By the way, are you familiar with these Retro Sound head units? This is what I use in my 1971 Chevelle Convertible.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
