Current 2019 C4 prices

I saw this ad, and made me wonder what kind of deals are out there. I have no affiliation with it, just it is thought a nice project.

What is by you???

By me anything decent is 8k plus now.

yup 8k seems to buy a super primo L98, LTx car these days even a rubber bumper C3
Aftermarket support it?? Not too many selling parts anymore as shipping makes it un-worthwhile (cost me $116 to have UPS pack/ship an LT1 intake the other day), noones tuning them etc. Not sure why some think any post rubber C3 is going to be worth a lot "someday". Drive it til it breaks, fix it or buy another one.
There are near perfect ones for more but sales are hit and miss. A nice C5z is teens without too many miles either. Love it when stuff gets cheap

Seen a few real nice 80k mi or less C5s on the forum lately they are the next big bang/buck.

When I was looking for my car last year, 84s and 85s could easily be had in decent shape at $3k or less all summer.

LT1s start around $5k, and nice examples are asking $7-8k in most cases.

Lot of random crap seemed to pop up too, that was hard to determine if it were a good value or not. Like this for $2k: https://annarbor.craigslist.org/cto/...856959963.html

When I was shopping last year the ones I'd see generally fell into one of two categories:
- Battered early-to-mid years for ~3-4K, usually with paint problems
- Very clean later models for $10K and up

My '96 is in great shape and I got it for under 8, so it must have slipped through a crack in the system somehow.
Guessing that the supply in New England is more limited so prices are higher, even for junkers. I remember seeing a lot more listings in NY/NJ, wish I could remember if the values seemed better.

Around here you cant really get a running car for less than 2k, let alone a vette.
