Targa top interior cleaning
 

Hi guys/gals I have noticed that I have smudges and marks on the interior of my targa top. It’s an 08 C6 I need to cllean it and I am not sure what to use. It feels like there is foam padding in it ( like most roof liners) and I don’t want to use something that may harm it or cause spotting. I am sure it’s all from when I put it on and off the car because that is where I put my hands to be able to lift it.
I have searched the forum and haven’t found anything on detailing it. If anyone has done this and could help with suggestions I would appreciate it.

I would start with the mildest thing possible, water. If that doesn't work, I would use car soap and water. There are also dedicated interior cleaners that should be safe. One example is Griot's Garage interior cleaner or Adam's.
