Can a stock auto trans on these cars handle the power thing thing will out out? 500+whp, is that pushing it on these auto wise?

Well a lot depends on the driving style . If the car is tracked hard and sees plenty of full throttle shifts it'll let go sooner then later. They aren't designed to handle 500hp but on a lightweight C5 it's a lot easier then 500 on a truck.

I've got a cam and headers now. My car dynoed at 480 hp. What kind of hp increase do you think I'd be looking at? The tech told me that was at the fly wheel but I'm skeptical. He said to the wheels would be 12 to 15 percent higher. If the supercharger is only going to get me to 550 horse it isn't worth it IMO.

What engine? Just a cam and headers alone will not get an LS1 or LS6 to 480rwhp.

Is that flywheel then? It's a zo6 LS6 2002.

So your 480 is most likely flywheel and closer to 400rwhp
