Immaculate indeed. My '08 is factory new but doesn't glitter like yours.

Get the young lad hooked on vettes at an early age. Route 66 back in the 60's did it for me. Because of that TV show, I've been running vettes since I could afford one.

Is that a speck of dust on one of the taillights :)....

Enjoy the ride,
M...

Yup me too, and I barely remember (DOB: 1950) gawking at fairly new '53 - '55s on the street. And then the side "scoops" and V8s put me over the top.

My step-dad loved Corvettes and I always remember looking for them (and other sports cars) on roads any time we were in the car. That was also before every kid had their face in a device of some kind, so we had to look out the windows & my brother & I would always make it a game to spot the Corvettes and name what generation they were. My two teenagers used to be into cars & loved going to car shows with me, but now could care less. I even tried to teach my son to drive stick in the GS & he said he had no desire to drive it :cry My two youngest really love the Vette and helping me wash it, going to car shows etc. I hope it lasts with those two.

Back in about the mid-late 60's a friend of mine who was old enough to drive took me for a scoot with the top down on his Dads 58 .....black with silver coves.....It was all over.

cmonkey is likely shaping minds off ALL ages with a ride like that! I've always admired the technical knowledge that he shares on the forum, but never realized how immaculate and detailed he maintains his Corvette. Beautiful!!
