'88 L98 fuel pressure gauge

I would like to install a permanent fuel pressure gauge on my. I've seen some installations, but don't know where to
get the fittings to do it safely. Does anybody have suggestions? Thanks

First you don't want fuel to be able to enter cabin. Second because of high pressure you the minimum length of hose/tubing to transducer. Transducer should be supported so vibration won't cause leaks. Autometer should have a gauge that will work for you.

Inside, or out on the rail?

I guess you could use the schrader tap, and I have seen people do that.. But are you sure you want to?

Man, if that gauge ever leaks..

Its a VMS gauge. There is a hotrod that i see at several shows with a L98 in it and he has a gauge on it. He bought the car
with it several years ago and hasn't had a problem, but doesn't know where the fittings come from. I think its from an old
Accel kit they used to sell. Sure would like to locate on of those fittings.

I once had a gauge mounted directly onto the Schrader valve. One day while on the dyno the operator pointed out that A/F readings would be off because my gauge was leaking into the view glass.
Never had a gauge mounted permanently since.

Thought of doing one on my 89'.
Definitely looks cool but not worth the risk of it leaking.

I think i'll pass on this installation. Thanks.
