Biggest tire to fit on back of c6

What model of C6 may help with replies.Your profile states your car is a process operator and not many are familiar with that one
|

Some years back after my SC install I needed more traction for the street. I bought wider CCW wheels with the correct offset to mount Z06 tires, 325 R,275 F Works well and looks much better then the stock tires, wheels.
mounted with Bridgestone Pole Position run flats. |
We still don't know if you are driving a base, or a gs/z06/zr1 widebody. 18 inch? 19? 20?
Pretty much every suggestion that you have received to this point has been useless because we don't know what you're driving. irok pointed this out to you, but you didn't get it. :toetap: |
running 335/25/20 on the back of my wide body base model

Upgrade does not mean larger size, especially when talking tires. You also need to make the front to rear size ratio fit, so you don't have issues with the computer nannies. While larger diameter may help with fuel economy on the highway, it won't do anything else unless appearance is a priority over performance. The same holds true for wider tires. Wide is great for lateral adhesion, narrow is better for straight line traction. Softer tires provide good traction, but wear quickly. Harder compounds last a long time, but you sacrifice good adhesion. Choose which is more important or stick with the stock size that is the all-around compromise. |
355 p/zeros on widebooty base supercharged

Are you also going to be running a factory wheel, or a wheel with factory offsets? If the offsets are different, it will also make a difference in clearance one way or the other and you have to be careful not to introduce rubbing issues.
|
Factory wheel or atleast factory replacement may go with a black wheel. Thanks guys. Good information
