Just Saw This Today...

Thought not truly a corporation advertisement, I found this new release interesting.

Very cool in some ways, but it would appear the manufacturer (FCI) is targeting a different and very limited market with this new Challenger 1320 package. For those who have the means, it must be appealing. But. given the Wildcat, Hellcat, stray cat lotion package of most Dodge models, do you think this sort of thing is going to be effective when it comes to increased sales? Looks like a well-engineered and integrated package, but do you think it's going to affect Challenger sales?

For discussion's sake, I think this whole idea, video and all, is not going to sell a lot of Dodges. I mean, if the package could be ordered and installed as a dealer option, fine, but Am I wrong that Ferrari/Chrysler/
fiat are missing the mark in terms of their target audience? None here going to go buy it?

Just sayin, and curious how others feel about it.

It's kind of like the C7 GS in that it just takes already developed parts off the shelf and sells them as a "new" model. Using the off the shelf parts keeps the prices down. I'm pretty sure that the Scat Pack (no slur intended) are tailor made for certain NHRA stock and super stock classes. That's all good in my book.

No, I would not buy this. I can imagine buying a Hellcat. I also would not buy a GS. I might buy a Z06 though.
