1996 LT4 M6 - 88k miles, MD! $7500 - MUST GO
1996 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe/Targa - Black
5.7L LT4 with 6-sp Manual ~88,100 miles, third owner Asking $7500 Located in Maryland, south of Washington D.C. Feel free to reply here but the best way to reach me is by email - justintavares@gmail.com More photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/fRgRrxyGnxno5UhQ6 https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...3b0caa25c5.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...4af8f63cfc.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.cor...dc034e92a7.jpg I bought this C4 three years ago (from someone here on CF!!), and it's been a blast, but I've gotten ill and I have lots of medical bills and not a lot of time to drive anymore. When I got it, I had it cleaned up by Tony's Corvette in Gaithersburg, put new tires on, and since then I've driven her a few thousand miles. I've done oil changes and maintenance regularly, and I always stored and covered it every winter since I owned it... and while I've only put on a few thousand miles myself, I loved every single one of them. This is the most fun car I've ever owned, and the most monstrous-sounding vehicle I've ever been near in person , but it must go asap. Modifications/Updates: Nitto NT555 tires < 3000 miles/3 years ago - front: 275/40/17 rear - 315/35/17 Battery replaced < 500 miles ago SLP Claw air filter installed < 500 miles ago Working handbrake (Done by previous owners:) Pioneer head unit with AUX input jack Replica C5 Z06 Black wheels Hot Cam (exact part unknown) Bullet catalytic converters Long tube headers (exact part unknown) Ram clutch (https://ramclutches.com/c4-corvette-conversion-kits) Single-mass Flywheel Custom tune Dynojet - 344hp/343tq @ wheels (You could probably squeeze a little more out of it with some tuning, but I'm happy) Good: Runs great, in great mechanical order All major modifications done at specialty corvette shops Well-documented service history from the previous and current owners Water pump, Opti-spark replaced < 500 miles ago Bad: Paint on hood is in rough shape. Some scratches, peeling. A/C directional buttons don't all work Interior is around an 8/10. Door panels were reinstalled at some point and don't feel perfect. Missing fuse box cover. I haven't been able to source a replacement. Single-mass flywheel means the transmission rattles in neutral (but it revs more freely!) Shift knob is a little beat up. New ones are like $40 but it's not bad enough that I felt it needed replacing. Other stuff: Full disclosure: There was at one point a p0134 code (Drivers upstream O2 sensor error) but no others. This happened after the SLP Claw air cleaner was installed. The MAF sensor was filthy and had a chunk of plastic caught in it, the error hasn't come back since cleaning that out. Extra stuff: Set of stock sawblade wheels wrapped in non-drivable tires, only used for parking it in the winter. Extra driver's side floor mat. Corvette-specific car cover Again, the best way to reach me is via email - justintavares@gmail.com This car has been absolutely wonderful and incredibly fun, and I hope I can find someone who will appreciate it. Thanks! -JT |

For those that haven't driven an LT4, they're a lot of fun For those that haven't driven an LT4 with a Hotcam and Lightweight Flywheel, they're a lot more fun! |
Man....if I didn't already have a nice 'Vette....I'd be all over this thing!

Anyone local can go look this over for me?
