Right clutch and pressure plate?

Can any of you guys tell if these clutch parts are right for the Z? I know the starter is wrong he gave me with the car. No part numbers.

If haven’t already look at the top of the forum where the stickies are located. Both here and over on the Registry Tech forum. You will find a “Tech Info - LT5” or “Solutions” sticky by Dynomite. It contains a vast indexed and searchable library of data about anything and everything regarding LT5 and ZR-1 specific tech and repair procedures. You really benefit from the experience of others. If your doing it it’s likely others have done it before you. In this case there are multiple threads on clutches.

Www.ZR1Specialist.com, Mark Haibeck also has a multitude of articles on ZR-1 tech. He’s is the current undisputed master of the ZR-1. While he currently does not list a clutch article he recently did one for the Registry publication. I’m sure it will be on his site shortly.

To answer your question. Can’t tell exactly what you have there but it appears to be a correct looking clutch and pressure plate. ZR-1 stuff is no longer made but does show up occasionally on eBay. Most now use the L98/LT1 clutch and pressure plate that has slightly less clamping force, which is probably what you have. The most popular and reliable combination seems to be a Valeo Pressure plate and a centerforce Disc. Stay way from the Chinese no name stuff.
Have fun...
