Sundown audio ?? Or digital design subs
 
So looking at putting a X8 in my work truck single can Silverado and possibly 2 X8 or 3 sa8 in a crewcab Silverado for my son And input or suggestions. Anyone use these. Or digital design subs ??

I had 2 SA 12"s in my old Tahoe. Sorry no pics of ported off the shelf box. They hit fairly hard and can take a beating...

I've heard nothing but good about sundown. I wish they were around when I was into BIG systems. LOL

Yeah when I had a system before. It was JL. Or Rockford MA. Stuff like that. But I am curious just how loud this 1 X8 will get in a single cab. Seen a lot of YouTube that shows they will get loud for a small sub

Sundown is more for SPL. Their subs do hammer and can make you smile. My opinion is not a one size fits all as SD has various subs available for their intended usage. Personally, I prefer SQ over SPL...but if you want loud and hard hitting (with less regard for clarity) then SD is a good choice.

my current system is the first time i've used JL. i'm old school and haven't really built a system since late 90's early 2000. when i was a teen, it was all Pro-tech subs, MB quart mid/high
